A COLLABORATION OF SPIRIT: JASON BAKERY x WOLVES OF WINTER
At Jack Black, we believe in the power of collaboration. When the right people come together with purpose, the result is greater than the sum of its parts. We call it a Collaboration of Spirit. This winter, that spirit comes to life in a bold new way.
The pack is back - and this year’s Limited Release: Wolves of Winter is unlike anything before. Matured in cherry-oaked whisky barrels, this brew is rich, layered and deeply complex. Time in oak has amplified the dark chocolate, roasted coffee and smooth caramel notes.

In our Collaboration of Spirit, we’ve teamed up with legendary Cape Town chef, Jason Lilley, and his incredible restaurant, Jason Bakery, to bring this year's Wolves of Winter to life in a new way - through food. Jason himself has crafted the ultimate beef pie; Frankie Fenner grass-fed beef shin, slow-braised in Wolves of Winter beer and encased in a rich, hot water pastry. We're calling it... The Howling Wolf.
And for the finale: The Dark Wolf - a dark chocolate stout cake with velvety ganache and caramel sauce, all infused with the brew itself.
A perfect pairing of craft, flavour, and community.
This is more than collaboration.
This is a Collaboration of Spirit.
The Howling Wolf will be available as a part of The Wolves Feast, which features The Howling Wolf pie, with chips and a 330ml Wolves of Winter for R130. The Dark Wolf will be available at R38 per slice.
The Wolves Feast and The Dark Wolf will be available exclusively from Jack Black's Taproom and Jason Bakery, on Friday 22, 29 August and 5, 12 September only, so make sure not to miss this one!
