LIMITED RELEASE: FRESH HOP IPA

We're super excited to announce that this year's batch of limited-edition, Fresh Hop IPA is now available!

You can expect nuances of fresh-cut grass, summer rain and earth tones. It's friggin' delicious to say the least!

We spoke to Jack Black's Head Brewer, Johan van Schalkwyk, to find out more about this year's special brew, "This year we made some changes as to how we utilise the Southern Passion fresh hop cones in brewhouse, to extract as much of the hop oils as possible.

We also adjusted the timing of dry hopping, to achieve optimum biotransformation, developing more aromatic and flavour compounds.

The final packaged product is unfiltered and unpasteurised, to retain as much aroma and flavour as possible.

Some minor improvements were made to the malt bill and water profile as well."
