Medal Winners at The African Beer Cup

The African Beer Cup is a super special event that takes place every year and celebrates the incredible brews of our continent.

It is the biggest beer competition in Africa and welcomes entries from small and large breweries. Beers are double-judged by a handpicked panel of qualified beer judges and industry experts from around the world. Winners are announced at the BeerEx Africa, held in Cape Town.

We're so honoured to have won 6 awards at this year's competition:

Silver - Pale Commonwealth Beer: Cape Pale Ale

Silver - British Bitter: Butcher Block Pale Ale

Bronze - Historical Beer: Keller Pils

Bronze - Hazy IPA: Fresh Hop IPA

Bronze - German Wheat Beer: Atlantic Weiss

Bronze - Fruit Favoured Beers: Super Crush Cherry Ale

We had a quick chat with Johan, Jack Black's Head Brewer, about the event, "I'm extremely proud of the JB team! Walking away with 6 awards in such a competitive event is truly a remarkable achievement. The commitment and dedication shown by the team is reflecting in the quality of our products!"
