Sentinel Ocean Alliance X Pint for a Purpose
We’re incredibly stoked to announce that our Pint for a Purpose for the months of June & July is the amazing Sentinel Ocean Alliance. This collaboration is perfectly timed as today (8 June) we celebrate World Oceans Day and kick off World Oceans Week.
What’s Sentinel Ocean Alliance (S.O.A) all about you ask?
S.O.A is a Hout Bay-based initiative that creates ocean-based opportunities & provides environmental education for the youth of SA’s coastal communities.
Last year we interviewed, S.O.A. founder and professional big wave surfer, Frank Solomon, to talk a bit more about what they do and why, if you’d like to have a look, you can watch it HERE.
With it being World Oceans Week, S.O.A will be hosting a World Oceans Day Beach Cleanup on 10 June, in Hout Bay and you can find out more information and register online HERE. This is a great way for us to all get involved & do something positive for our wonderful oceans.
Otherwise, you can support the great work of S.O.A by coming down to Jack Black’s Taproom any time over the next two months for a Pint for a Purpose, where proceeds from each pint will be going directly to the work of S.O.A.
If you’d like to find out more about this powerful initiative, get involved or donate, you can visit their website HERE.
Let’s all join together however we can to make a positive impact on the world around us and help heal our beautiful oceans. Cheers!
